It seems a long while ago now, but on August Bank Holiday, whilst the summer sun was still shining my little family and I decided we’d take ourselves off to a local attraction and spend an afternoon enjoying beautiful Rosemoor Gardens. I’m actually a florist in training (a new vocation since having Dylan) so it was the perfect opportunity to brush up on my flower knowledge whilst spending quality time with my boys…
Whilst I took a stroll through the beautiful cottage garden, Dylan busied himself by completely wearing his Dad out…what’s great about Rosemoor Gardens is there’s just so much space for children to run and really enjoy their surroundings. And then we took ourselves off to the Childrens ‘den’ – the perfect space to get messy and to enjoy a family picnic.
Despite only living a short drive away, I hadn’t visited Rosemoor since I was a young girl myself and it brought back such happy memories of family days out with my parents and grandparents…and it made us appriciate that with such wonderful attractions on our doorstep, it’s well worth making the extra effort to go and support such places. So I’ve gone and bought an annual pass and I intend to make it a regular thing for our family.
Do you ever visit attractions local to you…or is it something you associate with a trip away?
Love Sarah xx
