The Happiest Place On Earth

by Amry on November 27, 2012

As a Disney enthusiast myself, I have to say that taking Amelia to Disneyland for the first time last Monday felt like the ultimate rite of passage as a parent! This day had been dreamed about, planned and well prepared for – so when the moment came for us to show our tickets and pass through the park turnstile, we were ready! And the genuine excitement that seemed to radiate throughout Amelia made all the build up worth it! They don’t call it “The Happiest Place On Earth” for nothing!

Oh, and remember that warning I gave you about plenty of photos? Um, here they come…

God bless you if you’re still scrolling (I did warn you)! I totally get that the whole Disneyland thing is love or hate for a lot of people. There’s no getting around the fact that it’s crowded, expensive and quite possibly the definition of commercialism – but there is also no denying the magic of it all. And that’s how I would best sum up our day… magical. And that’s coming from a Southern California girl who grew up regularly meeting Mickey, eating churros, screaming on Splash Mountain and always loving Fantasyland. But no matter how many times I pass through those gates I will always grin ear to ear. So here’s to the magic and the mouse and many more Disneyland visits in our future!

So are you a Disney lover or hater? Have you had a chance to take your kids to “The Happiest Place On Earth”? I’d love to hear your Disney experiences!

Love, Amry xxx

Oh Amry, this has made my day! It’s drab and cold here…& I’m about to start another day at work, so this has really brightened things up for me. Singing to Rapunzel – awesome! xxx
