I Say A Little Prayer…

by Sarah on February 13, 2013

I hope this doesn’t seem indulgent but I couldn’t concentrate on creating anything else for today’s post. My sister-in-law is pregnant with her third child and she isn’t well. Carrying her baby girl has take it’s toll and after two weeks in renal care, she was last night rushed to another specialist ward that can hopefully assist in the heart problem she’s now been diagnosed with. Our niece appears to be doing well – but they’ve just started pumping her with steroids as despite being only 25 weeks, delivery might be imminent in order to make sure her Mummy’s life isn’t in danger.

I definitely took for granted how challenging pregnancy can be and have been completely ignorant to the risks some women take and sacrifices they make in order to bring their children into the world. So here’s to them, their families and to all the medical staff supporting them.

Today we are praying – and praying hard. Love Sarah xxx

So sorry to hear what your brother and Paula are going through. When you’ve had a pretty straight forward and healthy pregnancy yourself, you take for granted that it’s not always the same for so many women. Keeping them in my prayers. Give them our best when you next speak to them! XXX
